Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the
one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8
It is such a privilege to witness first-hand what God is doing in the lives of the women in our programs! As we walk alongside these women, we hear horrific stories of their past as well as their hopes and dreams for the future. One Participant has been asking for a while to be baptized. She wants this to happen in a natural setting, so we are going to hold the baptism in a nearby lake. The road to get here has not been easy for her, with many trials and obstacles in her way. She is in the process of reconnecting with her children and working on her recovery. Thank you all for remembering to pray for the women we serve, they appreciate it so much.
You can make a difference in the life of a women who has been exploited and is looking for a way out. On Saturday, Sept 29th, Next Step Ministries will be participating in Ride for Refuge at the school beside Calaway Park just west of Calgary.

The Ride is a FAMILY FRIENDLY cycling/walking fundraiser that supports hundreds of charities across Canada, who in turn support thousands more displaced, vulnerable, or exploited people - refugees, orphans, widows, at risk youth, homeless, victims or survivors of human trafficking - you get the picture.

We are looking for people to join a team and walk or ride for Next Step Ministries.

The Ride is a fundraiser, but with no obligation to raise a certain amount. If you do raise $150, you get a cool event t-shirt! It is not a race, people bicycle or walk at a leisurely pace, and some are just crazy and go full speed for 50km. It is totally your call.

Your participation and/or donation will make a difference in helping women exit sexual exploitation and break the cycle of addiction and abuse. Please consider joining this great cause! You can sign up to participate or make a donation to Next Step Ministries, a team or a person by clicking HERE
Check out this video on our brand new NSM TV site with Phil Reimer interviewing our Youngest Team Captain, Finnton Bradbury. If this young guy can put a team together and raise funds, we think you can as well!
