Volunteer Worship Night

Just recently, NSM hosted our first ever volunteer worship night. Volunteers and staff were able to join together for a small in-person gathering with an online attendance option at our partner church, Dalhousie Church. Many thanks to them for offering their beautiful space for us to gather.

There is no doubt that big things will happen in 2022. God has been revealing His good works to NSM. Every volunteered minute contributes to a bigger picture of freedom and liberation for sexually exploited women, and every prayer and song of praise connects us to God’s good plan. The chance to worship together as a community helped us to rejoin around this mission and purpose that God has anointed NSM to uphold. We ended the night by writing personalized notes of encouragement that we will give to future intakes upon their arrival at NSM.

Thank you to those who could join me to recenter our lives and NSM on the One who truly runs this ministry. We sang, praised, and got inspired by Becky’s encouraging words. Most importantly, we focussed on our good God. He is the One who heals, saves, and delivers. I pray that all we do at NSM is an act of worship with God at the centre.

The NSM volunteers constantly remind me of God’s love and compassion for our ministry, as they serve with the utmost diligence and commitment. I am so thankful for our volunteers who never stop inspiring me. It is an honour to be surrounded by a community like this one. Any chance of connecting in person or online has been an absolute blessing, and I hope to see you soon.
