NEW Executive Director Announced!

Message from Donna Hastings, Chair of the Board of Directors:

"On behalf of the Board, I am honoured to announce George McGregor as our new Executive Director for Next Step Ministries (NSM). George has been an active Board member since 2010, when he started as treasurer and then became Board Chair in 2018. Earlier this year, upon retirement of NSM Founder Phil Reimer, George was appointed as Interim Executive Director and transitioned into the full-time Executive Director role September 1.

George is a Pastor who brings a strong people-focused approach, business acumen, and a thoughtful leadership style to NSM, and we are excited to see him lead and grow this ministry in the years ahead.

Join us as we welcome George into his new role!" - Donna

George wants to connect with YOU, as a member of the NSM community of friends and supporters.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, like you, the Every Step Campaign raised $12,502.00, before donation matches, towards the purchase of Freedom Signal Technology!

Thank you for your ongoing support and investment into the lives of vulnerable women. We are confident this step will be game-changer for our outreach program!

How has NSM been impacted by the pandemic?

During the first year of COVID-19, when many organizations had to close their doors, Next Step Ministries was uniquely blessed by faithful donors who, through continued donations, helped ensure our core operations, programming and supports, were made available when they were needed most.

In addition to this, new emergency relief grant funding was realized that enabled NSM to hire additional front-line staff and increase capacity to help meet the dire need for increased trauma-informed counselling and outreach support by women survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking.

To learn more, you can access the most recent Annual Report online, or email Sharon, NSM Director of Development, to set up a time to meet in person or virtually to discuss how your gift is at work - changing women's lives.
