December Giving Opportunities
Christmas Campaign Update:

Women escaping human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Calgary are finding healing and transformation with your help and active support.

We are so grateful to every single donor who stepped up and together raised $67,825.00 on Giving Tuesday, directly helping in our mission to ensure no woman in our community is without a safe place and hope for a brighter future.

We're over 50% towards our year-end goal of raising $120,000.00 and feeling blessed with God's goodness and provision over this ministry.

Thank you for all you do and all you have given!

Transformation is possible...
"Being a participant in the NSM program gave me my life back. They provided me with a kind of love and support that my heart never felt before - something I absolutely needed to be able to grow into loving myself. I was able to bring that love and walk a journey that I was proud of."

"Because of Next Step Ministries I found courage to foster a relationship with Jesus. He's been waiting a long time for me. I went back to school and graduated with honours, got a job and was reunited with my family. I no longer live in fear or in survival mode. I am making constant shifts to be a better person one day at a time. I am loving who I am becoming."

2021 NSM Day Program Alumni
Did You Know:
  • Every December, along with Eastside Victory, we host a warm Christmas Community Dinner as outreach for 30-40 women typically on the stroll
  • Our staff ensure the participants experience a Christmas Eve service and spend time with them at the houses to share the joy and peace of Christ
  • NSM ensures that every day program participant and alumni receives Christmas presents for her and her family
Sponsor an NSM Alumni

The Christmas lists of our alumni and their families have been gathered and so we would LOVE to have these gifts waiting for them for Christmas. Thank you to everyone who has already offered to purchase these gifts; we have 4 women left to buy for!

Would you consider sponsoring one or more of these women for Christmas 2021? You can choose to send a donation and we will do the shopping for you, or if you prefer to pick up these items and drop them off at our office, we will ensure they are wrapped and ready to go under the tree!

Purchase Gift Cards for the Kids this Christmas
Imagine not having anything to give your children for Christmas... that's the reality for many of our participants and alumni. At NSM, we love to give these moms gift cards so they're able to buy their kids a present. We wish you could see the look on their faces when they find out they're able to give a gift to their little ones for Christmas. Gift cards are needed in abundance, but for many of our participants, they are unattainable luxuries.
We are looking for donations of $25 gift cards to Walmart, Tim Hortons, and Shoppers Drug to be dropped off or mailed to the NSM office before Dec.17th. If you can help, email Pam, so she can coordinate and ensure all our women survivors and their families are blessed this Christmas.

Make your Year-End Gift a Transformational one!

To provide every step a woman needs to achieve freedom, it comes at a high cost to provide client-centered and highly personalized trauma counselling, restorative programming, and a safe place for her to rest and heal.

As you experience God's love this Christmas season and look towards the end of 2021, we invite you to consider a year-end gift to Next Step Ministries, become a monthly donor or invite others in your life to make a collective impact by choosing us as your preferred charity.

Women escaping human trafficking and sexual exploitation are longing for hope, safety, and a chance to live a meaningful life.

Will you join us and help transform a woman's life today?
