A Valentine's Day Special Edition:
Every Woman Deserves to Feel Loved

Pampering local women through outreach:
In partnership with HER Victory, NSM will host a Valentine’s Day-themed community dinner on February 16th for invited women currently living on the streets and in our city, who are impacted by sexual exploitation.

They will be provided a sit-down dinner in a decorated venue. Other opportunities to look forward to are selecting some new outfits from a ‘boutique-style setup’, receiving a gift bag to take home and experiencing manicures, make-up and a photo booth.

Our intention is to pamper these dear women, show them they are loved and celebrate their strength, courage, and bravery to rise above...every day.
We need your help to make this happen. Here is what we're looking for:
Upscale clothing – laundered clothing in excellent, used condition, including sweaters, dress pants, dresses, skirts, blouses, coats etc. for the ‘boutique’.
'Luxury' items – new items only please- makeup, perfume, jewelry, fashion scarves

If you would like to donate any of the above items, please email Terry by Feb. 9. If you feel called to help cover the cost of this meal and upcoming Community Dinners, click below.
And the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:40
Yes, I would like to help make a woman in the community feel loved, and make a gift to the Outreach Program today.
Pampering women currently in the NSM day program:
This year, we invite you to consider sponsoring a survivor for Valentine's Day, with a one-time gift of $50 or more. This will help provide a full afternoon of pampering on February 14th to a woman currently in the classroom. Staff is busy making plans by coordinating flowers, chocolates, gift bags of goodies for them to take home, and arranging experiences of hairdos and manicures to be offered onsite.
We are in need of additional funds to help cover the costs of these celebration days and to incorporate special opportunities for the women in the day program on an ongoing basis.
Yes, I would like to help make a survivor feel loved, and make a gift to the Day Program today.

Just recently, NSM hosted our first ever volunteer worship night. Volunteers and staff were able to join together for a small in-person gathering with an online attendance option at our partner church, Dalhousie Church. Many thanks to them for offering their beautiful space for us to gather.

There is no doubt that big things will happen in 2022. God has been revealing His good works to NSM. Every volunteered minute contributes to a bigger picture of freedom and liberation for sexually exploited women, and every prayer and song of praise connects us to God's good plan..."
