Community Partner Spotlight: Purpose Realty
Let us introduce you to Next Step Ministries' newest way of giving, made possible through Purpose Realty! They are a Calgary-based philanthropic real-estate business created to offer compassion to a world in need of it. In the midst of the monumental moments in life, Purpose Realty enables home buyers and sellers to be part of something bigger and beyond themselves. This is accomplished by donating a minimum of 50% of their net profits of any real estate transactions to select charitable partners - and Next Step Ministries is one of them!
We praise God that they have already donated over $100,000 to local charities God has continued to be faithful and provide for their business. They continue to be an instrument to provide for His work through their various charitable partners. Purpose Realty are agents of radical generosity who are committed to giving back. As a result, NSM has already received six donations from Purpose Realty since January 2021!

Brett leads Purpose Realty's Calgary team! He is passionate about serving his real estate clients, non-profits, and extending himself through volunteering. His life is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible. Brett started Purpose Realty three years ago and based the company on a foundation of radical generosity. In addition to accountability to his clients, the real estate board, and the CPA board, he considers everything he does accountable to God. The business strategy that Brett has founded his company on is simple and revolutionary: ‘Pray and trust God.' NSM is honoured to receive the gift of partnership with Brett and Purpose Realty!
Staff Spotlight: Kirstie Zurcher

Kirstie has been on the NSM team for over a year as one of the Key Workers in the Day Program. She takes hold of every opportunity to support our participants and gives generously of her time and talents. The classroom is a place of safety, healing, and support where Kirstie is a fundamental piece in fulfilling that mandate. Kirstie is passionate about advocating for others and championing individuals in becoming who God has truly created them to be. This past quarter, Kirstie and her husband were excited to use Purpose Realty to find and purchase their first home together - and as a result, they chose NSM as their charity of choice for donating $1143.75!
